# Enable RxScaleSign

> Admin checklist for preparing a doctor to sign with RxScaleSign

# Enable RxScaleSign

Organisation admins use this checklist to prepare a doctor for RxScaleSign. Doctors sign in the Sign Center. How they do that is covered in [Signing Prescriptions](/for-doctors/signing-prescriptions). How a signed prescription moves forward is covered in [Prescription Signing](/help-center/signing).

In the admin portal, open **Doctors** and select the doctor. After changing a section, choose **Save Information** on that section.

<h2 id="can-sign-prescriptions">
  Can Sign Prescriptions
</h2>

On **Prescriptions**, under **Sign Options**, turn on **Can Sign Prescriptions**.

The checkbox reads: "If the doctor has the permission to sign any prescriptions."

With this checkbox off, RxScaleSign does not create a signing request for the doctor.

<h2 id="can-sign-physical-prescriptions">
  Can Sign Physical Prescriptions
</h2>

On **Prescriptions**, under **Sign Options**, turn on **Can Sign Physical Prescriptions**.

The checkbox reads: "If the doctor has the permission to sign physical prescriptions."

With this checkbox on, the doctor's queue includes the prescriptions RxScaleSign signs.

<h2 id="signer-name-and-phone">
  PX first name, PX last name, and PX phone
</h2>

On **Overview**, under **Personal Information**, fill in:

* **PX First Name**
* **PX Last Name**
* **PX Phone**

**PX Phone** uses international format, for example `+491701234567`. Any other value shows: "Enter a phone number in international format, e.g. +491701234567".

RxScaleSign sends these three values as the signer. **PX Email** on the same card is optional. When **PX Email** is empty, RxScaleSign uses the doctor's account **Email**.

<h2 id="rxscalesign-provider">
  Enable RxScaleSign for this doctor
</h2>

RxScale enables RxScaleSign on the doctor. The admin portal has no setting for this. Contact RxScale and ask them to enable RxScaleSign for this doctor.

Until that is done, the doctor's Sign Center shows manual signing.
